Sounds a bit sad from the title, but we want to put up our youngsters rosettes in our stud tackroom, and I know from past experience that they just get very faded and dusty if they are tacked onto a board ... Does anyone have a solution to this? (Maybe a source of reasonably priced glass fronted display cases? The problem is that these can be horribly expensive!)

You could staple-gun them all to a framed board and then cover it with a sheet of perspex (which they have in the roofing section of big DIY places).
Actually, you've just reminded me that all mine are still stuffed in a black plastic bag from when i moved house nearly 3 years ago, oops.

I make a frame using thin chipboard at the back, rabbit wire as the stuff to hook the rosettes to, a frame round the edge and then perspex over the top, though in recent times I've used clear plastic as the perspex is expensive and awkward to cut.

I used a couple of the display photo frames you can buy in Sainsburys. They are a beech type wood and quite deep. I took the partitions out and then put the rosettes in it with the back holding them in place. They look pretty good.
