Rosie cooling down yesterday

This was yesterday... today on our walk she jumped in every water trough she could find (3 on the way, 3 on the way back lol), one was even big and deep enough she went swimming Her new favourite thing is putting her whole head under the water and blowing bubbles, also explains why her water bowl is outside of the house as she was doing it in the kitchen and there were big puddles everywhere

She looks very happy in there. Evie always seeks out water troughs when we are on walks, even when it is cold!

You cant beat a nice trough, my friends Springer prefers the ones with green weed in it so he can do his impression of the green man.

OP now she has discovered the delights of the trough you will have a job to keep him out.

Yes she's found a couple that she can swim in which is her idea of Rosie heaven and we have a big dam/lake just down the road which she loves too

My dog used to do this in the troughs in our fields... could always find him standing in them on a hot day. He also loved to blow bubbles, always came out looking a little green

So glad it's not just mine! She did it yesterday for the first time in a big round concrete trough, the contents of which are a bit gross to say the least. I was laughing so much forgot to take a photo!!
