Cannot believe how well Rosie is healing

The vet is so pleased with her. Bute has been stopped, she's not lame now either and pulls like a tank when taken out for a walk to stop her seizing up

Her wound now looks like this

Excuse the messy shoulder but I took the picture before my friend had chance to clean the shoulder up a bit

For those that don't remember or didn't see it the original wound looked like this

So for it to be healed up this much in 2 weeks I think is brilliant

TFW - This was a dog attack.

Glad to see she is healing up well, poor girly. It was a horrible injury. Was there ever any news on the possible culprits?

Glad that she is recovering really well. Some speedy recovery vibes ((((vibes)))) to continue the process!!!

We don't know how Rosie injured herself - My friend Stella got a call from the farm where Rosie is kept to say she was bleeding badly and needed the vet. All we can think of is that she has rolled on something and it has punctured her shoulder. We have been round the field looking for possibles numerous times but not found anything yet

The alternative doesn't bare thinking about

The vet came out yesterday and said to take her off bute and just keep up with the antibiotics and has even said she can be ridden again

Stella said I don't think so - not for at least another couple of weeks
