Rough ball park figure for horse transport

Please can anyone give me a rough per mile figure for transporting a horse (not a shared load) in a lorry (horse can't travel in a trailer). I'm so out of touch I haven't a clue, and nobody is answering their phones it being a Sunday! Just need a quick there or thereabouts idea please

Was quoted £1 per mile in the summer plus a £60 pick up fee. I didn't use them, I hired a 3.5t lorry for £80
