Round scab on side!

My mare has a very round scab on her side near the bottem of the saddle cloth. Its been there over two months and doesnt seem to be healing. I accidently pulled off the top layer of the scab when grooming and it was bleeding but still a good height from her skin. Could this be granulation tissue(proud flesh) or does anyone have any ideas.
 
no I dont think so, I've seen a fair few sarcoids and it doesnt seem like them at all, but thanks for the input

i'd seen lots of sarcoids and we bought a pony who had what you described, he cut under his shoulder one day & it never cleared up, and they were sarcoids but i'd never seen anything like them? take a pic & post it, maybe if we could see it we can give you more input!
could be a verrucose sarcoid? if you have experience whith them then prob not but done rule it out, there are many skin conditions that can look like sarcoids or sarciods can often look like other skin conditions. if your worried about it I'd get a vet to check it out just in case
