Round two - Pelvis advice...

Right, round two! I'm seeing another horse on Monday morning, 16hh TB rising 7. He raced 4 times but was too slow. The girl that has him has been told to sell up asap due to space issues. He's schooling well on the pessoa, is working on his outline and absolutely loves jumping (what a coincidence...so do I!)
BUT (there's always a but) he rolled in his stable and hurt his pelvis whilst he was a racer, he raced twice after it had healed and he's shown no signs of any further problems with it except that he finds the right rein slightly harder but still jumps well off it. Owners physio said he's sound and it shouldn't cause issues so should I be cautious or confident?

Dizzy has bony irregularities on her pelvis. Had a week at Rossdales and a week at the AHT (with Sue Dyson). The general gist is that she might be okay, or she might not. We won't know until she isn't :(. This started 1st Jan last year, which was the first visit to Newmarket; she went lame suddenly (looked high up/pelvis area) July so that was another week at Newmarket. She went lame on Thursday and I spent the afternoon in tears and stressing that 'This Was It' - vet was happy that is wasn't the pelvis issue and that it was just a tweak.

What I'm trying to say is that whilst it might not be an issue per se, it depends on how good and strong your nerves are because one cannot help but think the worst each time something happens :).

Edited to add: Dizz is worse on the right rein and we have to work more that way to try and ease things up and build up the muscles evenly :). We also have the back man every two months-ish to keep her even. Farrier also has to shoe her bearing in mind needing to keep her backend even - she has to have an even number of road pins in her shoes.

Thank you for the info :) I'll find out how long ago the pelvic injury occured, as he apparently finds the right rein harder but she assures me her physio said that he's fully recovered and it shouldn't affect him. I'm not sure how minor the injury was...
