Rowallan Intro this Fri/Sat - anyone going?

Hi all

with Oatridge being cancelled, I was thinking about heading over to Rowallan to have a jump at the Intro show. It starts at 6pm Fri although I will be jumping the last two classes, I won't be arriving until 8pm. Anyone been before - is it likely to be busy?

Thought I would stay over to the sat and jump the 90cm/1m then head home.

No idea now busy it gets, they can very fairly slow up there though!

We are going to SNEC on Sunday instead. Come there instead as numbers usually low in last two opens and Saffy needs competition?

Ok so as I have now found out that SNEC has BS on sunday (i thought it was unaff) I'm heading there instead

was going to go friday night to give trudy's shower a trial but I'll just leave that till the great yorkshire!

And SNEC is a bit closer.


Ps - I'd heard that about rowallan too.

I was wondering about Rowallan this weekend, as XC I was supposed to be doing on Sunday is cancelled, and Ingliston has BS Seniors on (bit big for us!). Either the Intro, or unafilliated on Sunday, but it is a bit of a treck, so if there is uncertainty I might see if I can find somewhere else to go.

Ooo just noticed its on for 2 days & the entries are much cheaper! anyone know how much stables are for 1 night (cant find it on shed!) and whats it like? I have never been there before?

Think the stabling is £30 per night in the barn close to the arena. not sure how you would book though - probably best to call them?

Couple of friends who were meant to be competing at Rowallan were talking about it going into administration yesterday....

I'm thinking about heading along to SNEC for a watch on Sunday morning as I've bugger all else to do and they weather will probably be pants again anyway It's only a toddle along the bypass so might as well!

Its ok mine stands on his hind legs alot and he will be keeping his friend company on box rest so likely to be worse than usual!!

I might go to snec for my first show back with my broken arm. I've never been there before, what's it like? Would prob just do disc, will any one be there for that?

No Disc countrychic as it is an Intro show. There will however be a 1m open and a 1m amateur so two 1m classes to jump. Say hello if you come - we had the small daft bay mare!

Interesting about Rowallan, I emailed BS yesterday as my boys winnings from their show on 17th June haven't appeared yet and I was wondering how long it took.

Anyway they replied to say that 'unfortunately they have had to put a hold on those result' although they thought they would be processing them in the next 7 days.

Maybe they didn't pay their BS bill!

Anyway i'm def off to snec now. see you all there

ArcticFox - winnings can take weeks to appear so that in itself wouldn't initially have concerned me. However the response you got is curious. I do hope that all of these rumours are just that.

What time do you think the 1 m classes will be on. The schedule won't work for me don't know if it's because I'm on an iPad? I'm on a big chestnut with White legs and i have a light blue animo jacket
