Roxie is being spayed tomorrow!

Roxie is being spayed tomorrow and I'm surprisingly nervous about it!

How is my tiny little Roxie pup suddenly all grown up and ready to be spayed?!

I know the vets do it all the time and she'll be absolutely fine, but I can't help but be nervous.

I'm working from home tomorrow, so I'll probably be pacing around until they ring to say she's ok!

Aww bless her, she's so lovely. She will be fine and bouncing around again in no time.

Willow is about 6 weeks post-season now, so a few more weeks and she will be on the table.

I get my OH to drop them off and then I do the nice bit and pick them up again.

She howled when I left her- for a little dog she can make a lot of noise!

Heard from the vets and everything went well and we’ll be picking her up in a few hours. So relieved!

She’s home and already done and wee and poo so I’m happy.

She’s clearly quite tender and feeling a bit sorry for herself which is to be expected.

you will probably find she is back to her normal self tomorrow and the challenge will be keeping her quiet and not letting her jump up.... i used a crate when i was out as mine would be jumping on and off the sofa if i wasnt there to stop her......i was also incredibly nervous when i had my little terrier castrated even though it is a much less invasive procedure. luckily all went fine

I think you’re right! An hour’s snooze and she’s already asking for tummy rubs!

Awwwww feeeeet!!!! She is so cute. Pleased everything went to plan. Few more days and it will be like it never happened.

Well, Roxie is definitely feeling back to normal after a weekend snoozing on the sofa!

She had her first checkup today and is well and truly ready to get back out there. Only another week of keeping her quiet left to go!
