Anybody going? Ive been to watch, but never to compete and wonder if you could clear some things up for me:

The M&M Workers (highest height class which is over 138 or 148) - am I right in thinking the height is 3'3?

Queing to get in. Since the sections Id do dont start until 1.30 and then 4.30 we'd probably drive down in the morning so it would be after 8am which says in the schedule "allow extra time after 8am" - is there usually ques to get in??? My horse does NOT like standing in trailers for long not moving...!

Also, does anybody remember who the photographer was last year? I saw photos online but cant find them now. Especially want to see the Welsh Cob ridden class (to see how crap we are compared to them!).

Entries are due in on the 7th so I know Im leaving it to the last minute! I just cannot decide if I should go or not! Its a good 3 / 3.5 hour drive and at abotu £40/£50 a class, its pricey!

Yeah there are queues, mainly on the Forth Road Bridge as in addition to the normal commuter traffic, you have the farmers going to the highland! Queues start around 7 am on a normal day, but on Highland days prob start earlier and are still ongoing at 10-10.30am.

We only live 15-20 mins away (depending on what time of the day you go, on a normal day!) but can take 1-2 hours sometimes to get to the Highland

OMG you're kidding. So how long do you think we should allow? It takes us about 3 / 3.5 hours normally from Aberdeenshire. My classes will be late Id think on the Friday, my sections dont even start until 1.30 and 4.30 (and Im a few classes down). So we figured we'd leave in the morning but are unsure if we would be better leaving really early or a little later - ie. whenever the quietest time is!

You dont happen to have a stable available on the Fri night do you...? Stabling there is a fortune!
