Turned up and the car park was jam packed- so guess who ended up parking in the middle of a lake!! we had a moat round our trailer - Hattie was determined that she wanted to jump clean out of the trailer over the lake of water but this was not the case as she trod on her martingale and fell very ungracefully out the trailer into the lake instead!!

She was such a good girlie though

took her for our first ever Discovery as we are only £1 off jumping out of BN

She was amazing, went d/c in the BN and came 6th in a class for 40 something ish!!

now i think ive managed to jump myself out of BN anyway!!

Then after a small lack of confidence on Hattie's part in the warmup arena and a bit of a chestnut mare moment for both of us

she went in and jumped a lovely d/c in the 1m amateur championship qualifier

Think we picked the right time to make the transition out of BN

They're good thanks! Took Poppy xc schooling today at munstead, she was fab

got very very wet though!!Got BD with Ellie on thursday (shame she thinks she should be a camel!). Think we may be going to Royal next sunday, are you going? Hows Fiddler? x

i will throttle the weather men if they say that we will have a drought this year!!!!!!!!!!

i hope sooooooooo much that he will come right but its going to take time - its in the head now , hes in no pain and he wants to jump he just hasnt got the confidence to go everytime yet

Nope I haven't done anything this weekend, going to Crockstead next Saturday though!

I'm going to take her XC schooling as soon as it dries up, I just hope she gets her confidence back.

Hope Hattie decides she likes XC and Fiddler comes right soon, you deserve a bit more luck this year!

How was Munsteads ground??

Sorry, will empty now!
Ground was suprisingly good, some of the fences were very wet and muddy (particularly the landings) so we left them out, but most of them were ok, as long as your horse doesn't mind jumping into and out of puddles! In between fences it wasn't too bad, just a bit soft and a bit cut up in places but it wasn't slippery (though we did have big studs in) x

Well done, that is good. We are doing the BN with the occasional Discovery. We have got £96 on our card, its quite scary knowing that you get booted out soon isnt it?

You obviously moved up at the right time, although now you have no choice.
