Royal Rider Flex Stirrups

Does anyone have these stirrups? I was considering buying some as I need lightweight bendy stirrups but the description on a couple of websites mention an angled tread. All the other websites don’t mention this at all.
Are the treads angled or flat? If they are, do you notice the angle? My instructor seems to want me to have a neutral foot position.

I have them for everyday and long time in the saddle use, using the less grippy std treads.
With either the std or cheesegrater treads screwed in, they are not angled, definitely not.

That is great news. They are the only lightweight stirrups I could find with flexi sides.
