RS-TOR Feedback

I have one and it definitely helped me to stay in the saddle when my horse bucked.
It was a good confidence boost for my sister too as she felt safer.

We managed to find one second hand.

You have a lot more control than a neck strap, your hands are not fixed. You dont have to worry about grabbing a neck strap as the rstor is in your hand all the time. I dont even notice that i am holding it untill my horse has a complete fit and then i am glad that i have it in my hand. Grabbing a neck strap is the last thing i think about when my horse is having a fit. Also a neck strap will tip you forward my horse is very sensitiveto the seat and forwards means go!:)

Falling off and hurting myself= a week off work £500ish - I know what i would rather do and you can not put a price on confidence and feeling safe. I understand that its lot of money but iwould not be without mine now.
I had a nasty fall and because i grabbed the neck strap which pushed me forwards i ended up coming off and the hand i grabbed the neck strap with i had a very badly broken wrist.
:)

I just bought myself one. It hurt a lot spending 44 quid, I have to admit.

That said, I'm just riding out a newly backed 4 year old on its own and don't fancy coming adrift from her! Haven't used mine yet so cannot comment on what it's like to use.

I have one and I love it. I went from a nervous hacker with a youngish horse , to confident and pushing him on. I really really feel much better in myself with it. However, even though I feel more confident when jumping with it, I have not improved dramatically with it, although I have stayed on a lot more!!! Don't regret the money I paid for it at all.

It took me to have an accident, after posting this thread, to buy one, wish I bought one sooner and then I wouldnt have been lying in bed for the last week !!! obviously not had chance to use it yet but it'll be going on my saddle the minute I'm fit enough to ride again and thank you so much everyone for all the feedback
