RSPCA getting flak

I went to college a few years back with a woman who had worked for the RSPCA for ten years, she said they were rotten to the core and stuff went on that was shocking. Only her word but she seemed pretty down on them.

I've heard pretty terrible stuff as well. It seems a lack of equine knowledge is their main issue.

I think it would be better if they split into three sectors - pets, wildlife and livestock.

I spoke on the telephone to the then RSPCA equine vet, quite a long time ago now (I was doing research) and he said that for a horse to be ridden in an "outline" wasn't natural or good for the horse. I was speechless. I was so taken-aback that he should be saying this that all I could reply was some sort of muttering thank you for giving up his time.

I also had a friend who worked for them, that's why I never make a donation to them, too much going on that the public don't hear about.
