RSPCA need to be controlled

I put it down to that, but at end of the day he was supposed to be fully trained, we all make mistakes we are only human, but even as a newbie he had no compassion for "the animal " my lady dog and i would have gone to prison before they removed her from the only home she had known from being 7(ish) weeks old, this is why the rspca needs some sort of governing body to answer to, he made a decision, he was wrong, a newbie yes but still wrong.

I am slightly confused by that answer actually. You still seem so aggrieved at this one officer, yet you say the second officer actually sorted matters out? That actually leaves a pretty minor issue in fact, because you were still left with your girl, and still had the outcome you wanted.

So why sooo much bitterness. Most people in the situation you describe would just forget about it and think about their loved animal.

unfortunately i can not agree, it was defiantly reported as at the end of the day what happens to those animals rspca just don't have the space to deal with? I have had a bad experience the only thing i would say is how do we help these animals properly, without all the plastic bobbies? any ideas anyone will help as much as poss

Must add now i have got off my high horse (no pun intended) but a subject close to my heart, we all need to help animals in trouble, but why not make it more difficult to buy the younger animals for them to fall in the wrong hands, then need experienced owners?

AND THAT MR/MRS RSPCA PEOPLE HAVE TO HAVE SOME SORT OF VET OR SOCIAL PROOF THAT THE ANIMAL IS BEING NEGLECTED, THEN SURELY NO NEED ?

Well you are right there, that is one problem. I don't have the answer. That is down to the government to decide on laws.

Which begs the question, which animal welfare organisations actually get involved with the laws and put a lot of welly into trying to improve animal welfare?

Maybe a petition should be put forward for all of the financially capable animal or equine charities to start to get involved in that to try and change things.

Well firstly this seems v personnel, i have explained the reasons i have a problem would you care to clarify your position?

My experience is v personnel , but if you have an argument for not i am all ears, surely we are all looking for the same outcome? happy, healthy animals?

Surely we can try sort this???

Not sure to be honest that the posts were in order, but surely and the end of the day, it is better to let people know there are horses in need/trouble? for every helper frees up a rescue case??? so surely that works for us all??

Er, suppose. Except in order to tackle animal cruelty effectively it needs officers available 24/7 in this country.

Yes they did not read correctly, (my internet is poo by the way sorry), there are so many people on a forum, who all adore animals , if the rspca and other charities cant reach the animal loving public this way, surely something is not right?.It is hard i know but surely we can all do something?

Am I right in thinking that you are saying that if welfare organisations had more input on these sorts of forums then things would improve in some way?

24/7? never known anyone get the rspca 24/7? in fact have witnesses of them turning animals away?, i am feeling that this conversation has gone bad, i love my animals and want no, one to hurt them, they need a responsible and willing owner to have a good life, i have had a bad experience with my elderly dog with the rspca, surely we can all do our bit as none of us wil see an animal suffer, is a countrywide database for free grazing land not a good idea?

Yes if more people knew the plight of the animals out there surely we would all help?? i would put my name first on the list, as long as it was right for " the animal" involved
