There has not been a referendum about hunting, therefore stating that the majority are against it is dubious, in fact there is some evidence to suggest that the majority are indifferent. The RSPCA used and uses funds which were donated for the purpose of dealing with welfare cases, which I think, from their adverts they portray as animals owned by people who can't or won't look after them, for political campaigning. They have little knowledge of large animal care and they frequently behave as if they have the right of entry to people's property, which they do not. There are many people on this forum who have first hand experience of their less than adequate behaviour.

Still - they're on the right side of the balance between caring and not caring about the welfare of animals - that puts them among the good guys as far as I'm concerned anyway.
YorksG - I think you are probably right about the indifference but I don't think camapining for or against hunting is necessarily 'political' it's just taking a decision as to what you believe to be right or wrong
