After a lengthy ride out today my poor sensitive, fine skinned pally has a rub mark behind my legs 😢 he’s fully clipped and in that awkward stage in the year where the hairs not really growing, I feel absolutely dreadful and popped some silver honey cream on to soothe it straight away but wondered if there’s anything else that will encourage hair regrowth/soothe the area?

Where are the zips on your boots? I had a pair that started rubbing when the old boy was clipped- changed to a pair with a different zip placement and didn't have any more rubs.

We have this issue at the moment. Boot rubs, rein rubs, numnah rubs - everywhere appears rubbed.

I've been using mudaway as this creates a sheen effect. I've also used vaseline on the worst areas.

I had one that rubbed really easily when clipped, I used to spray his sides and the insides of my boots with coat sheen before riding, I'd stick a layer of vaseline on if I was riding with spurs. Also helped to keep my boots cleaned and well oiled so there was no friction from grease/dirt. When you clip next year leave a 'spur patch' and it should solve the problem.
