Rubbed Shoulders

Hi, Any tips for stopping rubbed shoulders. Horse had a bib underneath rugs bit still rubbed!

a Bossy Bib usually works, also spray shoulders with showsheen, brush in and allow to dry.

Rubbed shoulders are pretty common this time of year because of the coat change so wouldn't worry too much assuming that its just bald patches and not raw

bossy bib fab - no rubbed shoulder at all this year - and my mare has big shoulders and lives out 247 so rugs easily rub

Putting vaseline on my mares rubs and is helping the hairs to grow back.

If a bossy bib or similiar isn't helping I'd be inclined to say that the fit of the current rug(s) isn't great.

My horse's shoulder is being rubbed as well at the mo, but he always gets bald patches at this time of the year

Ive put a bib on him but i dont like using them as i find they rub the withers and the mane.

Your Bossy Bib is the right size also?

We use baby oil on all the rubbed patches. Helps with hair growth. Its also cheaper than showshine!
