Dougal currently has a full cheek rubber snaffle for flatwork and also SJ'd in it.
He has a rubber pelham for XC, now he has started pulling and running on after a fence SJing like he does XC so tried him in the pelham SJ and he was good but I did tend to over "check" a bit in it.
He has to have rubber as hates metal in his mouth, any suggestions for a SJ bit or is a pelham the best thing?
He is fine into a fence, infact I have to wake him up a bit, but then tends to pull and lean a bit after the fence and round corners after the fences!
