where is the best place to go to buy these, anyone recomend please. they seem to vary on thickness as well, between 10ml and 17ml. Any comments would be great. thank you.

Do you want them to be used with minimal bedding or with full beds. If the former then you should go for top quality thick mats, such as Fieldguard. If using just under full mats the thickness doesn't matter so much.

I highly recomend Equimats they are expensive but save me so much time mucking out and also a spend 1/3 of what I used to on bedding

i suggest looking on ebay there some good bargin mats on the i spent less than £200 on 7 high quailty mats and that was including delivery

I had my mats from a company on the web but they are similar to alot of mats that are sold on Ebay. Don't go for mats any thinners than 17-18mm. If you go for thin ones they tend to wearthrough or rip with the twisting & turning of horses in the stable. I've had my 18mm mats fitted for 2 years still look like new with no signs of wear.

There were some equimats (which are really good) advertised in horse and hound online a couple of days ago when I looked. Might be still available!
