rubber mats - new/old/from where!!?!

Hi guys, does anyone know where the best place to get mats from is on a budget!!?? I really cant afford to be spending £100 + on mats, but cant seem to find any decent second hand ones for sale anywhere?!! I'm from Berks does anyone know of anywhere good round here to look??!! Thanks

Find a nice dairy farmer and ask him if he has any cow mats.

ditto ebay. I saw some for £50 for several which would have done two good sized stables. They didn't sell.

I bought some very thick (and heavy!) mats from Preloved for £100 for a stable 16 x 12

I was lookingfor ages for second hand ones and just couldn't find any that where even remotely local to us (all of those for sale were collection only). I also looked on E-bay, the cost of delivery was huge plus I couldn't be sure what I was buying. I contacted previous buyers of the products and was getting mixed reports back from them so didn't want to waste my money.

In the end we drove 30 odd miles each way to the FieldGuard people and bought brand new ones yesterday it actually worked out cheaper doing this and collecting them ourseleves than it did buying some of the cheaper stuff off of ebay and having it delivered. Stables look fab now, really pleased!!

mine are ex playground floor mats....a friend gave me mine due to moving yard, but said they cost her a 5er each ( 4 - 6 do a stable) not sure where she got them from but well worth a hunt round - contact the council maybe? they are brill!

i got some off ebay on a buy now, they were brand new and really thick ones i had 6 4ft x 6ft delivered and they cost me £140 which i did not think was bad.
