Rubber Mats???

Hi,

Those who have invested in rubber mats - where did you purchase it from? Did you pick it up or was it delivered? Would you recommend the company?

I was thinking about buying 1 or 2 mats for the front of the stable, but if it doesn't break the bank, I am considering it for the whole stable.

Horsemats.co.uk delivered mine - v helpful, prompt and v heavy duty and 10 year guarentee....

But...they weigh 44kg each 6'x4' mat so a 2 man job at least....I bought 24 of them!!!

I've only just today ordered some from the seller on ebay (Carpetpac).

18mm thick mats (6'x4') £23.50 each and £66 for 48hr delivery to Scotland which I thought was pretty reasonable. Obviously can't tell you any more until I've got them, but the company have been very friendly and helpful to deal with.

I got mine direct from a manufacturer in Burton on Trent, worked out much cheaper than going to a specialist horse retailer but I had to collect them and fit them myself

My last lot I got from ebay too - Carpetpac. The mats are brilliant, just as good as the more expensive ones I bought 5 years ago.

I shall be buying some soon and I'll get these. I shall be picking them up. They have been recommended to me by many people.

Can recommend carpetpac they are local to us and had some from there a few months ago, good VFM in that price range

ours were fitted and cover the whole of the stable, we have drainage at the back so all liquids run the the back and down the drain

I was looking at the ones on ebay aswell as they looked quite reasonable and from your replies value for money too.

I also brought mine from ebay. Mine where £22.50 each with free brushes for each mat purchased. Delivery was £45.00. I was so happy with them that 6 months later I ordered them for my other stable.
