rubber matting bugs!

Lifted all the rubber matting up today and underneath was crawling with bugs! Anything I can do to get rid? I've disinfected the whole stable but what else can I do? X

Has the stable been in use over the summer ? The only time I find creepy crawlies under the mats is when I have stored them, once back in use, it isn't a problem.

The only bugs I have ever found are woodlice - assumed they were eating the rotted down wood pulp - don't believe they spread diseases so I just left them be.

Couple of large hairy spiders too but they catch the flies (terrify the bejesus out of me though!)

I used jeyes fluid today. Yes it has been in use all year. There was lots of woodlice and other scary creepy crawlies! Really don't like the idea of my pony having bed bugs! X

If you need to get rid of woodlice, then Armilatox is the only thing that will do it.
