Hello
I have just installed my new rubber mats so my question is how to you get rid of the stink that the rubber mats have??
I seem to vaguley remeber a form of deoderizer that you could sprinkle on or am I way off the mark!!

You'll struggle to get rid of the stink, I use a stable deodrantiser and lift them every so often and hose underneath. Welcome to the world of a horrid aroma every time you enter your stable!

Do you mean Zoflora. Yellow box with flowers on. Supermarkets sell it too. Just poor a bottle of neat dettol underneath them when you have lifted to let the floor dry out!! Might try that with my car cos that permanently stinks of horse pee!!!

Its funny as mine dont seem to smell. Ok I can smell wee when I remove it (every day or so) but no smell in general.
Ive had them down 2 years and have never lifted them.

Mine have a very strong rubber smell they are brand new only just laid them.Horses don't seemed to be bothered its just me will try that flower oil thing from the chemist and see if it makes a difference.
