I have a 25mm marine ply floor and am waiting for rubber matting to be put down (quarry belting) in my old rice trailer.
Is there any safety reasons I should wait for the rubber mat to go down or will it be ok just as it is.
Have to take my boy to vet for a tooth check up.
(He has a rotten root and may need an extraction)

If you put your horse in the trailer with just a plain wooden floor of ply, he will slip on it. If you can't wait for the rubber matting, put some straw down, otherwise he will have no grip, especially if the wood gets wet.
