Anyone have any experience with rolls of rubber mats and cutting them to fit your stable? I have found a few rolls of brand new mats in: 5m x 1.8m x 6mm.
How many regular sized mats would I get from this roll? I can't do my maths at all and have been measuring the living room for a while now haha.
Do the edges roll up and need time to flatten out, are they mega hard to cut, move, fit etc?
Moving to the new yard at the weekend and as the old yard supplied matting, I foolishly sold my own... so ideally need to get a set pretty quickly... dont mind cutting, collection and fitting if it works out cheaper than going to the saddlery and paying. £42.50 a matt for a massive stable.
One more question, my horse is on comfy bed so do people use matts through the whole stable, just under bedding or just at the front shere they stand?
