Looking into matting for work- it's a small space (8.5/4ft). Needs to be non-slip, and light weight.

Where should I be looking? How much do you think it will cost? Can you pay the firm to install it for you? (won't be a proper job if it's left upto the staff to do it lol!)

Cheers!

I have Equimats (they are lightweight and green in colour). They will come made to measure and I have 2 large pieces that slot together in the middle. I love them. I've had them almost 3 yrs, no wear on them and I take them out once a yr to disinfect mats and floor. Not the cheapest though, I should warn you.

just had some delivered and already had the same mats in 2 other stables for a year, They are by matman (.co.uk) are fully interlocking, they arrive like a jigsaw puzzle (cut totally to size) and took just 15 minutes to lay. He numbers them for you and sends a map! They are non slip, llight weight and as I said totally interlocking on all side except the edges. I can't fault these mats and look wall to wall and you can hardly see the interlocking partsl. You will not be sorry if you buy these. Mine cost £299 for a 12 by 12 stable delivered. PM if you want their number. The best mats IMO.

I have equimats in 1 box and have been looking for more for another 2 boxes- The equimats have been fab and I managed to put them down myself in less than 15 minutes. I didn't fancy paying the Equimat price again though, so I spoke to Quattro Matting and I will be getting some off of them- the EVA mats are basically exactly the same as the Equimats and really light however they just dont lock together, they quoted me approx £27 plus VAT per sheet plus delivery of approx £20, they are 6ft x 4ft and I think they're 18MM thick.
They were really helpful and I'm going to order mine in January- They also do a fitting service if you need it.
