I'm moving away for 6 months next month and taking Bean with me. All my stables at home are rubber matted and I love them. Because I will be coming home for xmas exct I don't want to take my matting from home so I need to buy some new mats for the livery yard. What thickeness mats do people use? Can you recommend a reasonably prices company that will deliver?
 
I like equimats, expensive but worth the money. They were delivered within a few days to my yard, and as they butt together like a jigsaw they dont move and less wee seeps through. Also they are softer than cheap rubber mats as they are made out of EVA.
 
Someone we know bought the ones off ebay. My husband fitted some of them on the floor of her lorry. They were better than the ones we have that were bought locally. Make sure that whichever ones you buy they are grooved on the underside otherwise they stretch and buckle in hot weather.
 
try carpetpac on ebay, they are cheaper than ones i can get locally. they are the same as they sell in my local horse shop and delivery is ok aswell.
