we were thinking of putting in a solofloor by earlswood supplies to try and save on bedding a s its meant to be squidgy and comfy! and also to help our dressage horse who suffers from filled legs, has anyone else used it before? thank you

Never used that make, however, I have rubber matting. I love it and it stops me worrying about dug up bed and hocks on concrete! I initially bought mine as my mare fell at the front of the stable (no bed at the front) and cast againt the wall (she's an Arab, these things happen!) it was terrifying to see, sparks were flying while she scrambled her front feet trying to get away from the wall and the straw was right next to the sparks

anyway I now have it and wouldn't be without, well worth the investment I say.

Not sure about that one, but I have the Stablelite ones - very thick and heavy, drain well and are very warm and soft.

I have used them for years and they have had a big old clydie on them for 7 years and are still in excellent condition. My other set I sold when I went to one horse and they are now 11 years old and still fine.

Personally I would only buy very thick porous ones (a) they last well and provide a lot of support and (b) keep the stable dry with a 4" bed on the back half of the stable

Don't know about that make, I have the Equimat 28mm in both my stables and it's fantastic. My girl's legs don't fill half as much and would not fill at al if she didn't boot the hell out of the wall!!

Wall matting now purchased and will be fitted soon!!!!

All in all we have spent about £1200 on matting but it's worth every penny.
