My horse is on box rest on a wood pellet bed (no shavings or straw allowed on the yard). No matter how big a bed I put in he's going through to the concrete floor when he gets up and cutting his hocks.

Can someone please recommend rubber mats that will do the job but won't break the bank?

Cheers

Bed needs to be at least 12inches deep, only remove the very wet, not the compacted down by the horse walking on it, dont touch this, do not fluff it up, leave it alone, by doing this the beeding makes a pretty solid base which wont move, if you keep fluffing it up everyday it will never make a base which doesnt move, hope this makes sense.
