Where did you get your rubber stable mats from and how do you rate them? Thank you for any suggestions

Easi mat on Amazon. Or it may have been EBay. Love them. Lightweight, interlocking, lovely and thick.

yep same, I don't have the interlocking ones, just the plain ones but I'd never have heavy rubber mats ever again.
I've got 44mm mayo mats in the other stable, but got those second hand on FB.
Yes you need to keep your eyes peeled as several dairy farms are upgrading their mayo mats at the moment so the used ones are looking for a home.
oooh good to know, I could do with a couple morebut they are SOOOO expensive new. where would be the best place to look?
Also whats the difference between Easimats and Mayo ones?
in skips :eek3::redface3: Oh! no! ThanksNot sure where they may advertise them!Farmers wont buy them secondhand for biosecurity reasons. 200 went in skips locally just before christmas apparently! If I hear of any I will PM you..
I like my easimats but the mayo mats are like a whole different ballgame. Kira has the mayo ones and she dances round her stable like she's Michael Flatley when I take Millie away... there's not a mark on the mayo mats even though she's shod all round with road pins. plus they haven't really stretched at all. My Easimats are about 5 years old and then are quite squished and a bit more marked.. plus they are 34mm whereas my Mayos are 44mm thick.
 you now need to film this for us all to see!
problem is I'm never there! I can just hear it and glimpse her little head bobbing about as I ride away
*dreams up where to put camcorder...*
(sorry OP, this is KINDA relevant to rubber matting...)
