Has anyone had rubber matting professionally fitted in their stables? My horse digs and as he’s getting older I’d like to make him comfortable. What are the average costs?

We have got 6' x 4' mats down in 3 stables. NOT professionally fitted, been down for about 12 years, we remove clean and rotate them every 6 months. Loads for sale on e-bay.

There are a few that fit for you if you Google stable mat fitting services, around £600 for a 12x12 stable I think. Horsemat.co.uk or something like that does it.

Or you can purchase them yourself and just cut with a Stanley knife! I recently posted asking for recommendations if you use the search box. Equimats are generally the best and most expensive (last forever) but lots of others, depends if you want solid rubber (heavy for cleaning) or EVA which is lighter. There are lots secondhand on Facebook marketplace but you're looking around £250-450 ish for a 12x12 stable new. Second hand a lot less
