Rubber strip for arenas

Belvoir do, (www.belvoirequestriansurfaces.com) we have just done a lunge pen with it from them, as apparently its meant to knit together so doesn't mix up so much!

Only been in use about a week though so afraid can't give too much advice!

We have a sand and rubber menage which needs pretty much daily harrowing and regular watering in the summer so I'm hoping the rubber strips need less maintenance to keep a good surface as we have been advised!

It is more expensive than the shreds but if it does what it's meant too then that bit extra worth spending in my opinion!

Alruba Rubber do it. We put it on top of our silica sand in our 25m x 50m arena and now it never freezes (even at minus 8!) and isn't dusty in the summer.

I have springride shred in my arena, it has never frozen or been dusty, The rubber knits together to form a layer on top of the sand. I find it really low maintainance too, we have never had to harrow it and only have to go round the edge with a rake every few months. The surface has now been down for 3 years, I would highly recommend it.
