Hi, I've put this in Breeding as well but also putting it in here wondering if anyone in here would be able to advise/following on from my previous post...!
As I'm sure you already know
my two shetland colts are 10 months old next week! One of them has rubbed the left side of his face bald. I originally thought it was lice as they've had them before, but the skin is literally bald, no irtitation whatsoever, and he isn't rubbing anywhere else and the other colt isn't rubbing at all... which makes me think it isn't lice (plus I've treated for lice and it hasn't made a difference!)
Im thinking it could be him teething and rubbing his face because it's hurting him? Has anyone experienced this before with youngsters?
I rang the dentist today and he straight away said thats what he thinks too. O don't want to call the vet for them to tell me its his teeth, but will if course do so if I dont see any improvement or feel I need to. Any help much appreciated!
