ok i posted a while ago about this my boy rubs/ brushes one of his front fetlocks, so much that after galloping about it bleeds and then takes ages to heal up. at the moment he has a nice scab... but im worried about it opening up again as it takes ages to heal.. im not sure how he is doing it.. He is barefoot, i have tried brushing boots (they rub) over reach boots, and sausage boots none work! I ride him in bandages (which seems to be the only thing that seems to work, but what can I turn him out in to help stop this other than vetwrap and padding... anyone else have this problem..?

They are probably quite difficult to come by nowadays, but you can easily make them by getting a large oblong of felt and sewing tapes across the middle, you fasten the tapes around the leg and fold the top half of the fabric over. :)

just a thought but have you considered having a chiropractor look at him? I know that it's different but my tb is close behind and brushes badly but less so when he has had a treatment. It may be that something (I don't know what as I'm no expert) needs realignment in his physique and possibly physio to help develop muscle memory.
