rubbish weekend for both me and Zoom!

Having such a rubbish time at the moment! I was going out to a posh do on Saturday night so I went down to ride and lead at 2pm.

As I got them out I noticed Zoom's leg was bleeding. She has a hideous kick wound on the side of her hock

Called vet, they couldn't stitch because of where it was so she is on antibiotics and bute.

TBH it's not the worst injury in the world, she's not lame or anything but she lives out in what is currently a quagmire!! I didn't want it to be dirty and we have no stables so she is down the road in the farmer's barn bored out of her brain.

I couldn't go to my do but it's just as well since my wisdom tooth flared up that night so I haven't slept in two days. I went to the emergency dentist this morning and they pulled it out. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I now feel like a truck ran over my face, I have two horses in two different locations to look after, Monty is having a nervous breakdown since Zoom is gone, Zoom is soon going to eat her own leg off and I am dreading riding when her leg is better since she is called Zoom for a reason and stabling = craaaaaazy!!!!

Sorry, I think that is officially my first rant!!

oh no! nightmare :-(and the weather can't be cheering you up! If it makes you feel any better Mina had a horrific nosebleed which looked like she'd tried to murder someone with her head. A big bloody muddy hairy swamp monster. I hate winter too!
