Well for the fourth night running my dog is trembling and panting because of fireworks although we do everything to try and minimise her distress. At least she is indoors unlike a neighbours dog which has spent the last four nights shut in the garden barking its head off and getting really distressed. I have just tried to phone the RSPCA for advice and of course they seem to have all gone home. Dont know why I bothered really. You cant even phone a local number now its some national line with fifty three different options all the while costing you a fortune. Its not the 5th till tomorrow either !

I know how you feel. The ones round here have been going off for over a week now and it's really getting beyond a joke. I've tried anti-anxiety pills from the vet for my dog and everything and nothing seems to work at all.
T is permanently barking for hours and hours on end and my head is now throbbing!! I dare say his is too! OH has just put him in the car and taken him to his parents hoping it will be quiter there. We seem to be doing that every night at the moment.

We have been having them for over three weeks now. It was horrendous last night. It got that bad at one point that my poor little collie x wet herself. Bleeding things should be banned.
