Hi there,
I am looking to move my pony to Exeter. He will be living out 24/7 on grass livery. He usually lives out summer and most of winter until the ground is not suitable. He is a section C Welshie and tends to hold his weight well in winter. At the moment he has a 0g rain sheet and a fleece for when it is extremely cold in winter. I have no clue with rugs so thought I would ask for some advice!

Mine lives out 24/7 too and I mostly use 0g or 50g rugs, with one 100g as his "big rug" for when it's really cold and wet and windy. You can always layer them up when it gets cold, or add a liner. Personally I like the Gallop Xtra (1200d) range - not expensive and I've found them to be very reliable.

If I were you I would get a couple of 50g 1200d turnouts so you can alternate them when they get vile and muddy.
