I've mentioned previously that one of the other horses is trashing my boys rugs. Does anyone successfully use any deterrants? I've been recommended cribox and yum yum but I don't know how well they will work...

Any recommendations??

Thanks xx

I've used cribox on the tail flap to try to stop damage when the boys decide to all run around with each other's tail flaps in thier teeth (sort of equine equivalent of chain he I think!). But it has to be thick and sticky to work. It does wash off in the rain and if it doesn't it will leave nasty patches on anything - including you - the horse brushes up against. After a while I just went back to mending the tail flaps.

I haven't tried it on the sholders or neck if that is where your ned is being targetted.

Ahh the other horse doesn't get the chance to be close enough to target my horses' neck/shoulder. Just the bum!

It's getting to the point where the rugs are unfixable - so I want something really horrid that will stop this other net from using my rugs as a light meal!

Will try the cribox, a few people have suggested it
