Rug Cleaning (inside only)

I want to give J's turnout a clean but only the inside of it as he had a hooly in it not long ago and now it smells of sweat and just feels grim. I have a power washer at home but just wondering if I should use an antibacterial shampoo or something else?

I just power washed the insides of mine and let them drip dry in the sun and they're back to fresh smelling.

I had a bit of a rub at greasy parts with fairy liquid and a washing up scrubbing brush and that did the job.

The rugs aren't immaculate by any stretch but clean and fresh.

I'm making an effort to hang rugs inside out outside on nice days to air them too

Not for today but perhaps for the future try putting an old cotton sheet under your turnout rugs and wash it regularly. I find it keeps the grease off the turnout lining and washing is needed less often.

I do as above but with a bucket of non bio washing liquid and warm water, scrub then hose off again.
