We had our mini shetland clipped (full) and rugged when we had him last winter, he had a full neck IV rug (3`9) and a lovely heavyweight full neck (I think it was derby house but not sure) (3`9) and when it was really cold he had both rugs on...
Why?... because he was my pony and I wanted to thats why.
(He was happy, a nice temp, clean and comfortable)
(he also didnt feel left out as all the other horses were wearing rugs aswell!

when we first got him and he was really poor condition...
this is 1 year later...
