Rug Houdini!!!

So rocked up to yard today, popped down field and Mare was naked

But she had a rug on this morning....

Anyway, found it down the field, all straps still done up - including the neck bit

- a bit inside-out but nothing broken or torn.

Can only assume she's wriggled out of it, headfirst!....

I had a horse used to sometimes do that with a Rambo Wug Plus.

I was just going to ask if it was a rambo.I have known of a few horses who seem able to wriggle out of them in exactly the same manner.

Nope - it was an amigo lightweight t/o with neck - -but aren't they just a rambo but cheaper? I get confused.....

If it's windy, Rambos and other rugs without legstraps can blow off over the horse's head.
Happened quite a few times to my naked shivering girly.

Haha always a funny sight! My boy used to always do this with his mark todd turnout...all straps done up and even the right way out! Absolutely baffles me

My horse can manage it with a rug that just has a fillet string rather than leg straps at the back. He completely does it on purpose, grabs the front with his teeth and drags it forward.

Missie managed that one night whilst all strapped up in a Weatherbeeta stable rug complete with neck cover. We found it on the floor with no rips and all the straps done up...?!?!
