Rug - how much?

Just a quick one

I've got a Amigo M/W turnout rug with neck cover that a friend is wanting to buy from me but i'm not sure how much to ask for. I said make me an offer and she said no, think about it and let me know what you want for it.

So it cost about £90-£100 new and has only been worn over one winter.
There are no rips or any damage to the rug it is in great condition with normal mud from my previous use.

Any ideas on what to ask for?

No more than £50 as it needs cleaning - there will be lots for sale now for possibly less.

I'd say £35-40, that's probably what it would make on Ebay then they'd charge you 10% sellers fees

Its not caked in mud and he is wearing it now, try before you buy, lol, fits him lovely and saves his owner the hassle of looking for one on ebay etc.
£40-£50 is reasonable then?

50% of the new price seems fair, especially as it fits and she knows it is in the condition described, and there isn't any expense and hassle in finding it.

I got £45 forine including postage. Was gutted as a lovely rug but eBay seems to be inundated with rugs people can buy cheaper.

I've got brand new in bag m/w's with necks for £40, so I would say no more than £40.
