Measured my new pony tonight - Section A - centre of chest round to point of bottom is 143 cm which is 4ft 8.29 inches - OK so which size rug - turnout and stable pls.

My thinking was 4ft 6 for the stable rug but a slightly larger 4ft 9 for the turnout - what do you think???

This might help...

Unfortunately it can be a matter of trial and error as different brands come up differently on different horses.
My horse Jasper for example takes a 6'3" in Weatherbeeta and a 6'6" in Amigo.
Most shops will exchange if you get the wrong size, just try them on over a clean sheet so as not to mark them.
I would try a 4'6" and see how you get on.
Good luck!

My Sec A who is 11.1-2 wears a 4'6 Mark Todd. Rugs seem to come up differently depending on your ponies shoulder size etc. I have a 12hh SHP who takes a 5'3 in the same rug even though the ponies height difference isn't much the rug difference is great as their shapes vary so much. Only way I found was to buy locally and try them on.
