Rug proofing recommendations

I’m about to clean my turn out rugs and want to reproof them. Can anyone recommend any good (not cost the earth) waterproofing solutions I can check out please?

Fabsil Gold. Apply with a paint brush until the fabric looks damp, and leave to dry. If you can clean your rugs with a stiff brush, and not use any detergent, so much the better.

Spray waterproof tent spray! Its amazing and cheap. Usually find it on ebay or amazon

I just buy the 5L containers of Nikwax rug wash and reproofer. Most often I use the machine and just do an empty hot wash first to clean out any detergent, and reproof in there, too, but I have been know to do the reproofing in an 80L container outside, leaving the rugs to soak with occasional agitation for a day or so (saves reproofer, that way!).

Another vote for Fabsil Gold. My two turnouts are going into their third winter after being painted with it and are still completely waterproof.
