I bought a Wetherbeeta Arion Standard Heavyweight Rug from online, but the advert led me to believe it came with a neck and it didn't.
Therefore i'm now looking for a heavyweight neck cover to attach to this rug (it has the ability to attach a neck, but ECW was out of the necks to buy seperately).
So my question is, will any heavyweight neck cover be ok to attach to this rug, or does it have to be the wetherbeeta arion neck cover? (i'm not concerned about looks, just whether it will fit or not).

different brands put the clips in different places to make you buy their ones to match.some are much further back on lower down at the sides so is awkward when horsie puts his head down to eat.

i don't know about neck rugs for weatherbeeta, but what is to stop you from getting a neck rug from another manufacturer and adjusting where the rings sit on the rug (or just adding new ones in the correct spacing to fit the neck rug?

All WB. Masta and some Robinsons own brand rugs have the 3 D rings on the rugs neck area, and therefore the neck covers have corresponding attatchments. My last horse wore a WB rug with a Masta neck cover, and I gave my YO a spare WB neck which is now on a mark todd rug haha. Its like pick and choose most rugs.

you can always sew loops on to the rug accommodate a new neck cover, i guess. btw, i have a FAL heavyweight neck cover to sell if you're interested. it's red though, so might not be the colour you want. PM me if you like.

I think Equestrian Clearance have the WB Taka neck covers left in stock - check with them, as the Arion was the same design as the Taka, just a slightly less thick outer material.
