Why-oh-why do lightweight rugs all come in pathetically flimsy deniers? I still want the rug to be waterproof in summer, and my horses are still just as thuggish in summer! My youngsters 2 month old 1200 D mediumweight rug now has a whopping great tear in it, so it looks like I need at least 1600 D for all my rugs. Can I find a rainsheet with more than 1200 D in a decent make? Can I hell!
Bah. Tempted to sell up and buy hairy natives.
But here's a thought - has anyone bought a heavyweight rug in a high denier and pulled all the wadding out to make a rainsheet? An annoyingly expensive way of doing it, but no more expensive than buying new rugs every 2 months!
