Rug recommendations for flat backed chunky horse

I am looking to get my boy a new rug for the winter (not urgent as he has a rather generous collection already! &#128514. I am looking at either FalPro or Premier Equine as a shortlist but hoping you can help with recommendations to save me spending out on something that doesn't fit or slips. My requirements:

• Robust (to survive playing with 5yo coblet field buddy)
• Liner compatible (I have all liners already &#128584
• Budget of £150

He is a flat backed chunky Irish. Mark Todd rugs fit him perfectly but don't have liner attachments and at 600D they don't stand up to play time... I had a Rambo Optimo for him but it slipped badly so not sure about the fit of horseware...?

My old boy (15.1 Irish Cob/Connemara) used to adore his Tybalt Stratus PE rug and the 200g was the only one we ever needed throughout Autumn and Winter. Ditto that Horseware rugs never suited his shape either!

Thanks! I thought my horse was the only one who doesn't fit Horseware!
I'm also interested to hear others' thoughts on the FalPro rugs. Do they fit chunky horses? Are they well made / worth the extra money?
