I'm looking for rug brand recommendations for my 3 year old TB filly. She is very narrow and under muscled (photo attached) at the moment so I would like to find a good fit that won't rub or be too large around her shoulders and chest. Thank you.

It depends how much you want to spend. I bought my lad a Swish rug and it fitted him well as a standard rug. The neck was too small for him so he never wore it.

Thank you, I'll look up Swish as never heard of them before. What breed is your boy? My filly has a short thin neck so I'm thinking that most necks will be too big on her!

I like Gallop fit nice and don't rub.

The other I like is HY Equestrian but their horse size sizing is a bit off.

I don't like rambo (too tight)
Amigo ( lasted 2 seasons b 4 leaking )
don't like masta with all those clips etc.

Maxima Equestrian rugs were a good fit when one of ours was a weedy youngster - they have fully adjustable front fastenings which means you can get a snug fit on narrow chests. Reasonably priced too which is always a plus with growing youngsters.
