Rug repair glue

Hello

Does anyone know of a good cheap turnout repair glue? My plan is to make a patch from an old turnout rug, then stick it over.

I bought some in a camping shop, sorry not sure of brand name it was £5.99 I think, blue and orange packet. I sewed the (6 inches long) rip up tightly, and then painted this on top. Works well anyway, no damp gets through to pony even in this rain!

Yep, Rambo Stormsure. I got mine at Mole Avon, but eBay have it listed too.

I have manged to do a few major repair jobs using Copydex and gaffer tape, havent heard of Stormsure but will have a look for some.

Rambo stormsure all the way, get through tubes with my two constantly ripping rugs!

Are you sure you need to patch? I have repaired several tears of no more than 2 inches long just by glueing the edges together with standard clear strong adhesive, then spreading another layer over the top that is wider and onger than the tear. Quick, cheap and effective. Not one has leaked yet.
