My weatherbeeta windsor stable rug has been rubbing my horse on one shoulder, quite low down. So I've been putting on underneath a lycra hood which covers the shoulders, and I'm sure the patch is getitng a bit bigger!! Anyone got any other ideas how to stop it rubbing?

Bossys Bibs are by far the best thing I have ever tried. My horse usually has terrible rug rub but this year just some tiny marks. I am so pleased I have found a solution after 2 years as have tried lots.

You could try loosening the fillet string if it has one. Also, slackening the surcingles a little can also help.

Those bib things are great too.

Also, show shine or similar can help because it reduces the friction... any slippy slidy coat conditioning stuff that you woudln't want on your reins or saddle will do!

Deffinatly Bossy Bibs. Every rug rubs my horse, I tried every bib going and nothing worked. Havent looked back since getting a Bossy Bib, Baron now lives in his.

Another vote for Bossy Bibs from me as well. They really are brilliant, and the customer service from them is superb.
